Amy 'Amii' Paulette Stewart is an American R&B/disco/dance-pop singer, dancer and actress most famous for her hit disco record "Knock on Wood".
Knock on Wood was released in February 1979 and yielded two successful singles "Knock on Wood" and "Light My Fire / 137 Disco Heaven". Amii Stewart's disco version of the Eddie Floyd song "Knock on Wood" reached #1 on the U.S. charts in April 1979 and is considered a classic disco song to this day.
