Framed Vintage Record Album Cover – Abby Road - the Beatles (Note: The poor condition of this album cover is reflected in the price. Average unframed copies of this particular record album regularly sell for nearly double this price.)
Abbey Road is the 11th studio album released by the Beatles. Abby Road has been viewed by many as the Beatles' greatest work. The album is ranked by many publications as one of the greatest albums of all time. Abbey Road is also the Beatles best-selling record album.
The Abby Road album cover is one of the most iconic album covers of all time. The cover's concept has been copied so many times that there is a book consisting of nothing but other album covers that parodied the Abby Road cover art.
The album cover also served to further the "Paul is dead" rumor. The Abbey Road album cover was interpretated as symbolising a funeral procession, where Lennon, dressed in white, symbolises a heavenly figure. Ringo Starr, dressed in black, symbolises the undertaker. George Harrison, in denim jeans and shirt, symbolises the gravedigger and McCartney, barefoot and out of step with other members of the band, symbolises the person being buried. Ironically, the Abby Road photograph was based upon a sketch that Paul McCartney had drawn a few days prior to the shoot.
The Album cover design is credited to the Apple Records creative director at the time, Kosh and the photographer was Iain Macmillan.

This product is sold as a decorative collectible and not as a playable record album. As such there is no assurance that the vinyl record itself is in a condition that would allow you to enjoy the music if you played it, although it might be fine, we have not played the record album to determine its sound quality.
