Chubby Checker (actually Ernest Evans) is the American singer-songwriter best-known for his 1960 hit "The Twist". According to Billboard magazine "The Twist" was one of the biggest chart hits of all time. Chubby Checker was the only recording artist to have five albums in the Top 12 all at the same time.
